Wife of the former Assistant Inspector General of police, Hakeem Odumosu, who was recently abducted has been rescued by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this on his official X handle on Thursday morning.
Adejobi added that the abductors of the former AIG’s wife were killed, and ransom was recovered from the culprits.
Adejobi said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.
Mrs Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
